Congratulations to the ESMS FFA Vet Science team for placing 4th in the Area V FFA Career Development Event. Bailey Sexton was also the High Individual at the event. The Veterinary Science CDE tests students’ knowledge and skill in various aspects of the Veterinary Science industry such as identification of equipment, parasites and animal breeds, as well as a handling and restraining practicum, a clinical procedure practicum, and a written exam involving knowledge of the veterinary science field.

Congratulations to the ESMS FFA Wildlife team for placing in the top 6 at the Area V FFA Wildlife CDE! Individual placings were: Will Wise - 3rd; Wyatt Cook - 9th; Warren Rentz - 5th; Mason McClean - 9th

ESMS Ag wrapped up the semestery by making floral arrangements for the holidays. A special THANK YOU to Rutland Farms for donating Christmas trees that the students took cuttings from for greenery in their arrangements. Thank you Rutland Farms for supporting our students!

ESMS was happy to spread some holiday cheer to the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia by delivering a pallet constructed Christmas tree decorated by the students. Special thanks to Mr. Billy King for spearheading the project and CTAE Department for contributing.

Congratulations to Bo Golden for placing 1st in the Area V FFA Creed Speaking preliminaries. He will advance to the Area V Finals in March at the UGA Tifton Conference Center.
