Congratulations to the ESMS FFA Horse Judging team for competing in the State Horse Evaluation Career Development Event in Conyers. Team members include Morgan Richards, Ellie Davies, Kaitlyn Perry & Sierra Swords. Davies was also the State High Individual. Participants in the Horse Evaluation CDE evaluate both conformation and performance of a variety of horse breeds. Contestants also present oral reasons on selected classes to defend their selection decisions.

It’s National Assistant Principals Week, and we have some of the best around! Huge thanks to Mrs. Gann, Mrs. May, and Mr. Sheriff—the heart of ESMS. From supporting students and staff to keeping things running behind the scenes, they do it all with heart, hustle, and so much care. We’re lucky to have them—let’s show them some love this week! 💙

This adjustment allows staff members operating our weapons detection station enough time to complete student screenings efficiently and transition to their classrooms to begin instruction promptly at 8:30 AM. ✅ To ensure a smooth drop-off: 🔹 Arrive before 8:25 AM to use the car rider entrance. 🔹 If arriving at 8:25 AM or later, please drop your child off at the front entrance, where they must check in through the main office.
