The media center at Northside Elementary welcomes students, teachers, and parents to participate in its programs. We have wonderful books for pleasure reading as well as for researching subjects. We love to see our students reading.

Students come with their classes to the library for story time or library lessons. However, students also come individually or in small groups to selects books. Makerspace and STEAM activities are available to students for in-library usage.

Students and parents may access our Destiny Online Catalog or Destiny Discover through ClassLink or the link on the right side of this page. GALILEO (Georgia Library Learning Online) is also available to all Georgia students. You can access this page at home by using the password for Tift County located in Infinite Campus.

Fines are only added to a student’s record if they lose or damage a book.  If a student loses a book or damages it beyond repair, he or she will be fined $20.00. Students who do not pay fines or do not return books will have their privileges restricted.

Our media center also maintains the Chromebook inventory. Student are issued a Chromebook that will remain at the school for their use. All students should have a signed Chromebook policy on file.
