Attention Northside 5th grade parents! Join us on February 2 at 5:30 for an important meeting about the 5th grade Georgia Standard of Excellence Heath Standard: HE 5.1g- Identifying the changes that occur during puberty. This is a great opportunity to learn more and ask any questions you may have. If you do not want your child to participate in these classes, please sign and return the opt-out letter no later than February 10, 2026. These letters were sent home with students this afternoon (Wednesday, January 15th).
Order your 2026 Read Across America shirt today! This year, we have two options for you to order: an aqua shirt with "Reading CAN TAKE ME ANYWHERE!!!" and a red shirt with the Cat in the Hat. The aqua shirt will have Tift County Schools on the back, and the red shirt will have Tift County Schools as part of the pocket logo.

Northside parents and guardians: Tomorrow (Thursday, January 15th) is the last day to support Northside's music program by pre-purchasing tickets for Sweets and Songs. Our K-5 students will be performing at the TCHS Performing Arts Center at 2:00 pm on Saturday (January 17th), and students who are performing should be checked into the high school's band room by 1;30 pm. See the flyer for more information and for the QR code to purchase tickets.
Don't forget! Kona Ice will be here tomorrow! Use the QR code or the link to prepay, or send money with your student in the morning. The front office will not take money for Kona Ice tomorrow.
To help us keep track of everyone’s belongings (jackets, specifically), please write your child’s name on their tag. This makes returning lost items much easier - thank you for your help!
