Meet Us at the Tifton-Tift County Public Library for a fun Star Wars Crafternoon! Thursday, May 2nd from 4 to 6 PM. #4theT
This morning a student at Northside Elementary reported to a teacher that another student was in possession of a weapon in their bookbag. The teacher immediately notified school administrators who contacted system security personnel and local law enforcement. It was determined that the student was in possession of a BB gun and the issue was handled without incident. We would like to commend the student for alerting the teacher to this situation to ensure the safety and security of other students and staff. #4theT
We are working our way through the Georgia Milestones! Tomorrow, our students will complete section one of the math portion of the Georgia Milestones Assessment. Don't forget! We are closing the car rider line at 7:40 am to ensure that all students are in their classrooms by 7:45. If you have a student in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grades, please make sure that they have plenty of rest tonight, eat breakfast at home or at school in the morning, and are on time for school. Please encourage them to not stress about testing, but to just do their best and show what they know! We know they are going to do awesome! #dftba #4theT
