IT'S GMAS TIME! Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are continuing to take the Georgia Milestones Assessment Wednesday (4/19) , Thursday (4/20), Tuesday, (4/25), Wednesday (4/26) and Thursday (4/27 -5th grade only). Students should: 1. get a good night's sleep. 2. eat a good breakfast at home or at school. If they want to eat at school, they should be at school by 7:30 am. 3. be in their classrooms by 7:45 am. Make sure you encourage your student to do his or her best, but remind them that they are more important than any test score.

Out of an abundance of caution, Northside Elementary was placed on a soft lockdown this morning due to a potential situation in the neighborhood around the school. System security personnel worked with local law enforcement to determine there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff and the school has resumed normal operations
